Fasting Intercessors Team (FIT) is launched under Warrior Intercessors Network (WIN) at Jesus Is Lord Church, Sun Valley Chapter( JILSV) last April, 2007. FIT is one of the teams created as Pastor Joemer Cahayon asked for God’s Direction for the 12th year Thanksgiving celebration of the church. Its mission is to develop the Intercessors’ role in the church in prayer, intercession and fasting. “It envisions a church that stands in the gap in praying and paying the price of God’s Instruction.”
The intercessors as part of the team, commit to have a continuous fasting and intercession for the church and the nation. Each member voluntary holds a fast on a particular day to keep the chain. Pastor Cahayon envisions at least 50 members of FIT a year from now on, the team yearn to work hand in hand with education ministry in educating the church members about prayers, intercession and fasting. “We will definitely see a lot of answered prayers in the coming days as FIT continuously do its calling ‘til the second coming of Christ” he added.
